Silver Smiles

This morning I took two kids to the orthodontist and handed over all my money.  The kids were given silver smiles and sore gums then sent home.  Despite tylenol and advil, pudding and ice cream, mashed potatoes and bread, they are miserable.  It's amazing what we put ourselves (and our kids) through, knowing that the outcome will be worth the pain.  They entered this adventure willingly even while knowing that it would be unpleasant at times.  Life is like that.

Here's to straight teeth and happy teenagers!

Ouch! I remember those days. I hope they feel better soon. I'm sure their teeth will be perfect soon :)

Be sure you brush and floss! :)
May your lips and teeth recover soon!

Better to do it now than when you are 40!

Hmmm... somehow giving all my money away wouldn't make it onto my list of 10,000 things that make me happy.

I feel their pain...I have one more month with mine. I didn't get mine when I was 40, but close! It's depressing to think of how much we will be spending in orthodontics over the next several years. Beautiful smiles will be worth it!
