Oh kids! I have a daughter who I found crying in bed hours after she'd gone to bed. I asked what was wrong and she said, "I said I hated you earlier and I feel so bad. I'm so sorry." I said I hadn't heard her say anything like that and she said, "I whispered it."
She felt much worse about it than I did. Funny kids.
