Usually planted with corn or soybeans, some of the fields on the outskirts of town - for whatever reason - haven't been worked and are covered with these pretty yellow flowers. I'm sure the farmers are calling them weeds, but to me they look like sunshine covering the ground. The photos I've taken of the fields haven't turned out so well, so this one - taken when Jeff and the kids went camping last weekend - will have to do.
So pretty!
